Soul Nurturing: Spiritual Journeys in Japan

It’s David here again, writing to you from Japan as Dougall and I are here on our 13th work trip! I’ve been reflecting on these journeys over the past nine years as Dougall and I have been making regular trips to beautiful locations all over Japan. We feel so much gratitude for the mystical power spots we’ve gotten to visit, the delicious varieties of incredible food, and the heartwarming experiences that have kept us coming back for more.

Since childhood, Dougall has felt a strong connection to Japan that inspired him to study Japanese and learn about the culture. And so from the very first moment we set foot in Japan, there was a palpable connection, an energy that whispered, “welcome home.” We were mesmerized by the harmonious blend of tradition and modernity. For example in Tokyo, traditional old Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines stand shoulder to shoulder with modern architecture, each energy balancing the other. For us, something about Japan feels like a spiritual embrace.

Our journeys often take us to spiritual power spots scattered across the country. The air is charged with a palpable energy at these locations, and each one offers a specific purpose that’s intended help improve your life.

Best of all are the spiritual, lovely people we’ve encountered here. The kindness of our Japanese colleagues and friends have left an indelible mark on our hearts. It’s this genuine hospitality that has turned our visits into a series of unforgettable experiences.

Of course we were expecting to enjoy Japanese food, like sushi that melts in your mouth, ramen that warms your soul, and tempura that’s practically ethereal—Japan is a food lover’s paradise. But we were completely surprised by the wide variety of incredible cuisines that await at every turn. Who knew that I’d have the best Italian food of my life in Japan? Each trip is a culinary adventure, from incredibly reasonable and casual cafes to Michelin-starred restaurants alike.

Our love affair with Japan has reached such heights that we’ve been toying with the idea of sharing this magic with you! Picture joining us on our next trip to Japan this May 2024. It’s not just about enjoying the breathtaking scenery, learning about intuition in live workshops as we explore Japan, or the incredible food. It’s about immersing yourself in the rich tapestry of spirituality that Japan effortlessly weaves into everyday life.

Imagine our group, gathered under cherry blossoms, participating in a workshop that delves into the intuitive arts. With ancient temples as our backdrop and the scent of incense lingering in the air, we’d guide you through a journey of self-discovery and connection to the energies that surround us. This is a chance to break free from the hustle and bustle of daily life and tap into the serenity that Japan so generously offers.

And let’s not forget the cultural exchange that would inevitably happen. We’ve been leading these groups with Japanese clients for closer to a decade, facilitating connection with spiritual seekers. Join us and you could experience the precision of a traditional tea ceremony alongside new Japanese friends. We can bridge the gap between cultures, foster understanding, and build connections that transcend borders.

Our guided group would come together for communal meals, savoring the flavors and reflecting on the day’s experiences. It’s not just about the sights and sounds; it’s about the connections forged, the insights gained, and the memories created.

We are currently creating an itinerary and schedule to share these sacred power spots and what we now consider our second home.

If you feel drawn to this, enter your information below! We will be hosting a zoom meeting in December to give full details on all of the exciting things we have planned.

And in the near future, you may find yourself under the cherry blossoms, basking in the spiritual glow of Japan, alongside us and a group of kindred souls ready to embark on their own transformative journey.

With love and gratitude,

David
