My New Book! (And 3 Steps I Use To Manifest Anything)

I am delighted to announce that I have signed with Hay House to publish my second book!  My community knows that I have been planning another book for some time now, and I am incredibly grateful for your ongoing support. David and I worked hard to compile my work with color energy into an easy-to-use system. The results have been really exciting and I can’t wait to share it with you.

So many of you have great wisdom and ideas, but are not sure how to move towards bringing them into reality. For my clients, this is one of the most commonly requested topics for guidance. My intention here is to encourage you by sharing some of the tips that I use myself.  Try as many of them as you like, and let me know how they work for you!

Talk About It: If you have a lingering idea that has been on the back burner, make sure it gets the attention it deserves by sharing it with other people. Whether you dream of becoming a chef, veterinarian, or health coach, tell your loved ones about your idea. We often don’t talk about our dreams out loud because we fear judgment, or perhaps we don’t believe that we can truly attain our goal. Manifesting is the art of bringing a dream into the physical realm, and talking about it will help the process along.

Take Action Steps: I have seen the power of manifesting in my own life, but I also know how easy it is to get stuck in the “daydream” portion of this process.  Of course it’s fun to imagine the things that we will do when our dream comes true, but the process is incomplete if we don’t pair the daydream with physical action. Any time you step out of your comfort zone and take a chance, you are one step closer to your manifesting goal.

For me, this meant embracing social media and sharing my message publicly. I used to be uncomfortable with this idea, because I associated self-promotion with being insincere. But the truth is, social media is simply another way to increase our connection with each other. Not only that, it allows us to remove all physical borders and share our knowledge freely.

Keep The Faith: So much of our manifesting destiny is determined by the messages that we tell ourselves. If you have ever struggled with low self-esteem, you know how hard it can be to believe something positive about yourself. This is why manifesting requires that we ingest positive messages and incorporate them deeply into our belief system.

One of my favorite ways to do this is to say the following affirmation: “My dreams deserve to become a reality.” Try saying this several times daily to remind your soul of its inherent worthiness.

No matter what, remain patient with yourself and do not give up. I am here to tell you that you deserve to achieve your dreams. I would love to hear if there is something that you want to achieve or manifest in your life, so please share by commenting below. I love supporting you, and it will bring you one step closer to making it a reality.

  1. I’ve had nudges over the past few years for a fashion line that incorporates something I generally don’t find anywhere. I’ve followed through on bits and pieces towards this and now the nudges are becoming stronger and more frequent. I’ve also had nudges about an energy healing business… Again… In the stages of just figuring out how to go about creating it. While listening to your interview for Home In Harmony… I had another idea that incorporates the two which is very exciting! I recently saw colors around my best friend during s conversation… And that’s the first time I recall seeing anything like that. It now leads me to learn about what I noticed! Thank you!!! 🙂

  2. I love your color work, have taken your online course and am looking forward to reading your book, thank you for writing it. Will be using the steps you mentioned to work on my children’s book and also a career in international development. “My dreams deserve to become a reality” – beautiful.

  3. I concur with the others on the positives of this article, especially the healing affirmation as I’m in the process of increasing my feelings of worthiness. I’m also in the process of working on listening to my intuition better to knock on the right doors at the right time (lately I have knocked on good opportunities but had to keep searching due to a situation with either needing a car and/or more frequent availability). For example, I received a call back to where the person was actually fine with me searching out a second job opportunity. However, I was unable to take it because of the car issue (on the plus side she said that would still keep me in mind for the future in the case I’m able to purchase a car sooner rather than later). I’m humbly grateful to have directly seen the issue and to have been considered for the 2nd job issue, but I know that I only have myself to blame because I understand that it is my responsibility to knock on the right doors at the right time for me. Additionally, I intuitively figured out that one of my other blocks was making sure to make up my mind on what state and area I intend to live in long-term regardless of my income and set a deadline for taking action on moving to the area regardless of what I have lined up (I finally have my mind made up on the relocation issue but I must keep it secret for now for both practical and spiritual reasons especially because I promised my husband I would at least stay in this area for this year regardless of how my professional situation transpires)

  4. Dougall, your blogs are always so uplifting and filled with Love and Hope. CONGRATS on your book deal by the way – that is so AWESOME and I can’t wait to read it! Blessings to you kind and noble Sir.

  5. Thanks for this, I think I was in daydream mode thinking I was visualizing my goals. I am so focused on working with horses and having our own land that I am presently working very hard towards that. We have wanted it for so long but didn’t do anything to make it happen now I am realizing that it is me and no one else can make this happen. But I have to stop day dreaming about it and make it happen. Thank you. I will be looking for your articles and your book.
    Thanks,
    Devon

  6. Hi,
Over the last year, I have gotten an intuitive nudge to wear “black and white”. I have eliminated mostly all other colors from my wardrobe. What’s you take on “black and white.” BTW, love your energy. Rain

    1. Great question Rain! Black is extremely grounding, and is helpful for pulling in and protecting your energy. This is partially why people in very big cities like to wear black so much. White is an overall cleansing color, useful in every situation but particularly if you feel stressed.

  7. Great news! You are so positive and that really comes through.
Can’t wait to read your next book. Thank you so much for sharing.
