3 Ways To Transform Your Home’s Energy

One of best ways to heighten the vibration of daily life involves your home. Since this is the place that we spend the majority of our lives, our home is the most direct reflection of our energy at all times.

Just like the people that we spend our time with, our living space also influences our outlook and how we feel at any given moment.

In my work as an aura intuitive, silver is the color energy that is most responsible for making our home feel like a safe sanctuary. It’s what makes you feel calm and happy at home, like wearing your favorite cozy sweater in bed while it snows outside.

The best part of silver is that you can build this energy to create a sense of comfort and joy whether you are in your apartment, a dorm room, or even a hotel room. Read on to learn my three favorite ways of building this energy so you feel beautiful silver energy all year long!

 Sight

Every home, no matter how fancy or simple, is a completely blank slate without someone living in it. If you’ve ever had the experience of moving homes, you know how odd it feels to take one last look at the empty rooms without your furniture, artwork, and personal belongings.

That’s because we live our most intimate moments in these spaces, and yet they feel completely stripped bare of those experiences when we see them without our things in them.

The good news is that you can immediately begin building silver “home” energy wherever you are by personalizing it with artwork and photos. These items possess the most silver “home” energy because they are the most unique and specific to every living space. And to really supercharge this energy, make it as unique to you as possible.

For example, our dear friend Marilyn is a talented artist who made a beautiful gift for us by printing a photo of our dog Bernie and pasting it on a small block of wood. She then painted on it to create a one-of-a-kind piece of art. We display it every year around the holidays and it means more to us than any store-bought holiday decoration.

Scent

The scent of a home is the stamp of its energy, and choosing it with intention can powerfully shift our mood as soon as we walk into a room. We love diffusing essential oils, and lately we’ve been enjoying vanilla, eucalyptus, bergamot, as well as lemon.  There are endless scents to choose from, but if you’re not sure, you can experiment. Just close your eyes and inhale deeply the next time you’re at the candle or essential oil section of a store.

Try to notice which scent makes you feel calm, relaxed, and safe. You could also simmer some apple or orange slices in a pot of water along with a cinnamon stick. Just keep adding water when the level gets low and you’ll create a lovely welcoming scent.

Taste

Making food at home is another great way to build the comfort of silver energy in our homes. If you already like cooking, you already know this. Even if cooking doesn’t come naturally, I believe that preparing any kind of food at home is one of the fastest ways to build a beautiful sense of safety and calm in your living space. 1. Indeed! Timely information for my personal experience. Moved house 2 weeks ago, and still settling in. The scents of the new place aren’t mine yet, artwork has yet to be hung, and the decorative pieces that have been collected over the years have yet to find their places. The energy is good, though, and the process of settling in feels ceremonial at times. I’m grateful for my previous home, and grateful for this new space. Interesting side note, my gift to the new space is a silver vase. How’s that for preparing for silver energy?!?

  2. Lighting candles- definitely related to the scents as I tend to gravitate toward scents that calm me but also there’s something very calming to me about that little flame
