How To Receive An Intuitive Message With Color

Color is a universal language. You can ask someone who is 5 or 105 years old what their favorite color is, and they will have an answer. Our favorite colors can make us feel energized, cheerful, relaxed, or peaceful.

I have spent my life feeling drawn to the power of color. And after 20 years of seeing auras around people, it is clear to me that color does not only bring many of us joy, but it is fundamental to our very essence.

We are surrounded by color every day, and noticing it is part of the enjoyment of life. But did you know that the universe can also relay messages in the form of color?

We are all busy with our daily lives, and it can be easy to lose sight of the bigger picture.

Using color is a way to get in touch with your higher self. I often use it as a way to receive messages and support from the universe.

Here is a simple technique you can use to gauge whether the universe is trying to send you a message:

  • Make a conscious decision to be more mindful of the colors that catch your attention today. In the course of an average day, we are likely to see a variety of colors. However, some times you might notice a color that seems to repeat itself. Perhaps you decide to wear a red shirt to meet a friend for lunch, and she is also wearing red. Then later that day, your significant other brings home red flowers as a surprise.

You can choose to interpret this as a coincidence, but to me they are signs. I define this experience as a Universal Activation. This occurs when the universe presents us with a message by activating a specific color in our surroundings.

In this case, it will almost seem like that color is trying to make you notice it. If this happens, it is an invitation to look into the meaning behind what this color represents.

Keep in mind, it doesn’t matter whether or not you like the color. The important thing is how often you notice it.

In my book Your Life In Color I offer descriptions and properties for 10 common colors. I consider red to be the color of healthy emotions. If I notice the color red repeatedly throughout my day, I would stop and check in with my emotional state. I would ask myself if I am feeling emotionally centered. If so, great! That would be a validation from the universe. But if I don’t feel centered, I would keep focusing on this energy and checking in with myself. Why are my emotions out of whack? Am I upset about something but choosing to ignore it? What can I do to address this issue right now?

It may take some time to get to the root of the message. If you are struggling to find clarity, try visualizing the color. It will often present the answer in your mind’s eye.

Give it a try and let me know if you notice any specific colors that repeat themselves for you.

Sending you much love,
